If you are a photography enthusiast then you would want to print your photos with the use of the best photo printer. While there are a lot of photo printers available in the market that claim to be the best in its class it is difficult to really determine which is the best.

This can be more difficult especially when you want a portable photo printer.

Portable photo printers allow you to print your photos on the go anywhere. This can be a great companion when you are at a wedding or on a camping trip.

This will be able to print your photos easily without the need of a computer. So how would you choose the best portable photo printer?

Size is important as the name portable photo printer implies. This will not be as portable if you need to carry it in a trolley. With its portability you should not expect it to be able to print photos larger than standard 4 x 6 size photo paper.

These kinds of printers are lightweight and small in size which will make it easier for you to carry around.

The availability of its ink should be a good consideration. You wouldn’t want to lack the ability to print because your ink has depleted and you can’t find a replacement.

Some do offer their printers at an affordable price but it is very difficult to find the replacement ink that you need.

Some manufacturers have bundled their ink with the paper so you would know how many prints are left before you need to replace it.

You would also want to consider the power source of your printer. Most portable image printers need to be plugged in but there are those that have batteries that are capable of giving power to the printer to be able to print a number of photos.

This can be very handy if you are in a place without any electrical outlet available.

You would also want to consider the price. Not all expensively priced portable photo printers give the best prints. There are those that can still give you the quality of prints you need at a more affordable price.

The quality of the prints would all depend on you as different people have different perception of what a quality photo print is. A cheaper printer may give you the same satisfaction of the quality of photo it prints as the more expensive one.
